Can Do Houston

CAN DO Houston is a 501c3 non profit organization currently housed in the Center for Healthy Equity and Evaluation Research at MDAnderson in Houston. We are a partnership of organizations that connect the dots to make resources available to communities that are or are at risk for obesity with an emphasis on childhood obesity prevention. We are heavily engaged in the communities of Sunnyside, Magnolia Park, Fifth Ward, Near Northside and Independence Heights. To prevent and diminish childhood obesity in Houston and surrounding communities through physical activity, nutrition, and healthy minds by enabling the broadest collaboration of individuals, institutions, and organizations.
