can2close is a Munich-based startup devoted to developing and bringing to the market an elegant, no-compromise solution for resealable beverage cans. The company was founded and incorporated as a GmbH in 2012. The four founders together have more than a decade of entrepreneurial experience and deep business, operations and product development know-how. The team is ideally positioned to successfully develop the technology and bring it to the market as a viable business solution. The solution is an improved opening mechanism for beverage cans that also allows for resealing. It will be marketed to beverage brands as a way to increase the desirability of their products by offering an improved usage experience and more potential occasions for use. As beverage cans are the most cost-effective option for beverage packaging, the solution also provides an option for increased unit profitability.
