Canada Futurefocus

Future Focus Canada is an advocacy organization launched in 2024 by a passionate group of Canadian high school students. We came together to raise awareness and drive change on the issues we care deeply about - from climate justice to LGBTQIA+ rights, systemic racism to economic inequality. As students, we noticed major barriers and injustices facing youth nationwide. From unattainable post-secondary tuition to lack of mental health resources, unfair policing policies to inaccessible leadership pathways - young people are often left out of decisions shaping our present and determining our futures. Future Focus Canada exists to elevate the voices, ideas and calls to action of high school students nationwide. We facilitate connections between youth leaders in our schools and communities to collaborate on campaigns, petitions, protests and proposals to tackle societal flaws. As young advocates, we believe the next generation has the innovation, grit and vision to create positive change. Through Future Focus Canada, high school students can support each other, organize grassroots movements, influence policymakers, and drive national conversations on the issues we feel most pressed to resolve. We invite fellow passionate student activists to join our organization. Together, we will empower high school youth across Canada to demand justice, determine our destinies, and realise the better country we all desire.
