CanAm Properties is primarily a consulting company that was created in 2006 to assist cross border clients to navigate the regulatory and procedural waters of purchasing and selling real estate. At the time of CanAm’s inception, the Canadian dollar was highly valued in relation to the US dollar and US real estate markets were reeling from the liquidity crisis and resultant recession. Because of the thousands of transactions that I had managed and my being licensed as a managing broker or its equivalent in Montana, Oregon, Washington and Alberta, I was able to refer both American and Canadian consumers to knowledgeable and effective Realtors, tax advisors and attorneys, so that they could make prudent decisions and wise purchases. In later years, CanAm has focused on consulting with home building companies on the development of performance sales teams and the effective integration of the MLS community into the sales structure of their organizations.
