In the city of Bogor, nestled between mountains and urban areas, there exists an environmentally conscious factory located within a lush green space. Canopus is a startup flexible packaging company dates back to 2020 that operates in a state-of-the-art new machinery for printing and lamination. The Plant has 5 hectares of land. We currently serve big local customers and in term of capability, we have two new printing machines (Windmoller & Holscher Heliostar - Germany) with the ability to run 10 colours, and provide the option of stationary or movable web turning stations for backside printing or coating purposes. At Canopus, we are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact through concrete actions and implementing an industrial ecology model. As a fast-growing converter with a single site in Indonesia, our mission is to grow organically with greenfield factories in order to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing marketplace. We also continue to invest in our capacity, as we have just added 1 extrusion laminator machine (Sumitomo/SHI - Japan) and 1 tandem linear dry laminator machine (Nordmeccanica - Italy), a configuration type of this new dry lamination machine is the first of its kind in the world and Canopus is regarded as a key pioneer in Indonesia of using a configuration with turret non-stop unwinders and rewinders working in tandem, which at a long run size will be faster in processing, enabling more efficient, cost effective and quality delivery of our services. This investment is one of the largest in the Indonesian packaging industry in 2020-2021 and is a testament to Canopus' commitment to growth in the Indonesian market.
