Canora Courier
The Canora Courier is a weekly community newspaper serving Canora and surrounding area. The Canora Advertiser (now the Canora Courier) made its first appearance in May of 1907 and had eight pages. A.G. Graham was the owner and H.S. McKee was the editor. The name change to the Canora Courier occurred in 1927. Until early 1978 the Courier was printed on a sheet-fed press and then later that year the printing process was converted to a web press system. Prior to 2006, the paper was owned for many years by Ken Sopkow, who sold it to Forefront Enterprises in 2006. Forefront Enterprises owned it for two years and then in 2008 sold the Canora Courier to Glacier Media, the current owners.
