Founded in Geneva in 1925, it is one of the oldest existing insurance companies and is proud of its long history. Its incorporation as a subsidiary of Allianz in 2002 further consolidated its financial strength without, however, limiting its independence. CAP thus became part of one of the leading insurance companies in Switzerland. And today it is one of the largest legal protection insurers in the country.
