CellTech™ has developed successful technology to embed carbon dioxide (CO2) throughout concrete at the mixing stage. This new carbon utilizing process has potential to enhance the final properties of concrete. The CAPCELL™ technology creates a barrier that prevents CO2 from reacting with water and calcium carbonate as it is mixed throughout the concrete paste or wet stage. The technology utilizes a cell to capture and manage the CO2 hence defining CAPCELL™. The CAPCELL™ process is the only commercially viable composite technology embedding CO2 in the paste for ordinary concrete without needing to modify any sequencing or the concrete making process.
