Capital Formation Partners LLC (“CFP”) is a newly established, independent institutional business development partner, myopically and vigilantly focused on raising our GP clients' funds while scouring the globe for special GPs who exist to serve their investors by putting them first and offering truly differentiated alpha and real solutions to real investment needs. We provide institutional outreach capacity from day one thanks to our Managing Partner's two decades devoted to developing and nurturing relationships across all institutional investor segments - from insurance companies and public pensions to corporates, E & Fs, wealth managers, private banks, and multi-family offices, located in most major geographical centers, spanning all of the U.S, much of Europe, and significant portions of Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia. At the core of CFP is a dedication to act as an extension or standalone solution for the capital raising (and product development) function of [alts] asset managers. Though our investor coverage spans investor segment (and geography) and investment strategy/asset class, we have niche expertise in:(1) raising money from and managing assets for insurance companies and (2) raising money for all manner of alternative credit strategies and GPs. Our mission revolves around devising a tailored, practical, and executable strategy for capital formation that enhances existing resources, underscores the unique strengths of each organization, and secures a durable market position and revenue stream. Our Founder has raised capital for the alternative investment industry’s leading asset managers for 18 years, including a combined 14 years at BlackRock (VP, FIG (~insurance)), Golub Capital (Director & Head of Insurance, EU,+ LatAm), and Arcmont AM (MD & Head of US). His teams have raised approximately $100 billion in institutional assets for every major asset class, of which he directly led initiatives securing over $30 billion in assets.
