Capital Surveys was founded in 1996 by Eng. Malik Mohammed Shahnaz, whose vision, technical expertise, and leadership excellence laid the foundation for the company’s sustained growth and long-standing reputation. Established initially as a specialized land surveying firm in Abu Dhabi, serving the Oil & Gas sector, Capital Surveys has since evolved into a leading regional provider of integrated surveying, marine surveying, and geotechnical services, operating across the UAE and international markets. Over three decades, Capital Surveys has built a strong legacy of technical excellence, reliability, and professional integrity—earning the trust of government entities, multinational corporations, and major infrastructure developers. To address growing market demand and enhance nationwide service delivery, Capital Surveys expanded its operations to Dubai in 2003, enabling seamless project execution across the UAE. In 2009, the company significantly strengthened its technical capabilities by introducing a comprehensive range of surveying services and commissioning an in-house Soil Investigation and Construction Material Testing Laboratory. The Laboratory is equipped with advanced testing technologies and operates in full compliance with internationally recognized standards. Today, Capital Surveys is recognized as a trusted partner for complex infrastructure, energy, marine, and development projects, delivering end-to-end solutions that integrate surveying, geotechnical investigation, testing, and data-driven analysis.
