Think of us as a personal shopper – but for corporate funding clients such as Private Equity, Real Estate Funds, VC and Family Office. They are our clients and we strive to understand exactly what investment projects they are seeking, rather than just sending them proposals. We reach out to house builders and developers whose projects appear to fit our clients brief. We also work closely with Specialist Development Introducers, Commercial Finance Brokers, Lawyers and Valuers. Our main focus is on Equity, JV and Forward Funding but clearly we also work on Mezz and senior debt to structure the capital stack. We also support our sister company EnergyScout on Corporate Finance Transactions for Oil, Gas and Renewables - Debt and Equity. We are not a lender or an investor, we are an advisory and development diligence firm, but with a difference – we work solely for the potential investors and view them as the client. That works well on due diligence, if we lose a deal, that hurts but our duty of care is to the funder. At present we are actively searching for projects for small number of funders – some of which are offshore but have London Offices. CapMezz live Deal App We decided to set up a regular deal flow by introducing the CapMezz App. This enables us to view deals which could potentially fit our client’s criteria – they see the deals too but they are at arms-length, behind the scenes and initially only need to talk to us. Once they have expressed an appetite, it’s CapMezz who do the initial diligence - working with the developer and introducer. This makes the whole process more efficient for the Funder.
