Capture Motion is a creative visual studio based in Cambridge, specialising in brand videography, photography, and drone content. We help ambitious businesses turn their ideas into purposeful, story-led visuals that drive connection, elevate brand identity, and deliver results. Who is Capture Motion? It’s a small, owner-operated studio led by Dan Starling — a filmmaker, photographer, and creative with a deep passion for telling stories that matter. Capture Motion is more than a service; it’s an extension of Dan’s vision, creativity, and commitment to helping clients bring their ideas to life through high-quality, strategic content. About Dan Dan first picked up a camera at 10 years old at his cousin’s wedding and never looked back. That moment sparked a lifelong passion, leading him to photograph wildlife, win Young Photographer of the Year in 2021, and open his own garden studio at 17, where he focused on family portraits. In 2022, he began working freelance with creative studios, gaining vital experience in project management and commercial storytelling. This led to the launch of Capture Motion in 2023/24. By late 2024, Dan also joined Define Creative as a Production Specialist to continue honing his craft alongside running his own studio. How We Work Capture Motion is intentionally small to stay flexible, focused, and collaborative. While Dan is the driving force behind every project, we bring in trusted creatives when needed to meet the unique demands of each brief. Clients work directly with Dan, who takes pride in building strong relationships, understanding your brand, and delivering tailored content that reflects your message.
