Founded in 1954, Carbodiam has established itself as a global player in diamond tools for cutting, drilling, and grinding. Recognised for its expertise, product quality, and ability to develop tailor made solutions -including ‘small’ series - it has long supported professionals and industrial manufacturers in the concrete, brick, and glass sectors. With 40 employees, 100% of its production is undertaken in Belgium, it has commercial presence in over 60 countries, and offices in the USA and Canada. Innovation, driven by a cutting edge research and development department, has been the key to its success, enabling the company to consistently propose new manufacturing processes and new product lines combining ultra-high performance and competitiveness. Ultradia, historically the subsidiary of Carbodiam, also based in Belgium, has contributed for 30 years to the group’s success. Its strength lies in the complementarity of its ranges of diamond tools and machines from reputable brands, combined with what is said to be exceptional commercial, technical, and after sales service, especially in the Benelux market. The merger of these two entities will allow the company to offer a complete range of diamond tools and machines, reinforce commercial presence, and broaden expertise to meet user needs closely. From 1 January 2026, all personnel will operate under a unique identity: Carbodiam. This new dynamic comes with a refreshed graphic charter, new logo, a redesigned website and a single location in Tilly, Belgium. Through this merger, the teams will unite their strengths, expertise, and reaffirm their values around four pillars: commitment, performance, tailor made and connectivity. This marks a new step in sustainably supporting clients and partners towards greater innovation and excellence.
