Carbon Conscious is a sustainable design and construction consultancy with over twelve years’ experience of working with private and public sector clients. We specialise in environmental assessments of buildings and the provision of integrated sustainable design advice at all stages of a building or civil engineering project from inception through design and construction to operation. We combine our experience from the world-leading engineering consultancies, pioneering academic thinking and passion for sustainable living to deliver cutting edge solutions that make sense. Our approach to sustainability is that of engagement, common sense and use of local resources. Accustomed to working closely with and listening to a wide range of both technical and non-technical stakeholders, we are able to make the most of local knowledge and existing natural resources. Our method ensures early buy-in from the stakeholders and a high degree of ownership by the end user, which in our experience is most crucial to sustainable design. Being a small enterprise we are able to offer a competitive and independent service while drawing on our staff’s experience from leading multi-disciplinary consultancies.
