Carbon Zero Initiative

Carbon Zero Initiative works to accelerate the transition to clean energy and mitigate global heating, while minimising impacts to people and nature. By establishing a new interconnected network of clean energy, we can break our dependence on fossil fuels, mitigate climate change impacts, and foster a healthier and more sustainable future for all Australians. Carbon Zero Initiative was founded in 2023 to advocate for a carbon zero Australia by 2040. For the next few years it will focus on the significant network effects unlocked by hastening the energy transition in Tasmania.
