Heading up Cardwell Construction is Craig Cardwell, a man who knew he wanted to be a builder from the moment he completed his first Lego set. He started his apprenticeship straight out of high school and was fully qualified by the age of 21. After working for one, ultra-fastidious employer for nine years, Craig went out on his own to start Cardwell Construction. That was in early 2015 and he’s never looked back. “As well as building houses, I build trust with customers. There are plenty of rogues in the building industry today who are short on honesty and integrity. We’re not like that. We answer our phone calls, we do things properly and we deliver on our promises. The amount of word-of-mouth referrals we get tells me our customer satisfaction rating is where it should be.”
