Care4ash1l

Care4ASH1L is a Canadian charity to bring ASH1L families worldwide together. The foundation aims to collaborate with researchers & medical professionals to expedite research on ASH1L. The primary goal of this foundation is to ameliorate the lives of families affected by a mutation in ASH1L gene. We also aim to improve community building and have a private Facebook group for families to share & discuss about their struggles & lives. ASH1L gene is considered an important gene for brain formation and there is very limited literature on it. Care4ASH1L wants to change this phase with the help from researchers & families across. The biomarkers & phenotypical landscape for diseases caused by ASH1L mutations are unknown. Care4ASH1L aims to collate & gather this information from interested ASH1L families in an International Patient Registry with reliable information sharing for every stakeholder of Care4ASH1L. In future, Care4ASH1L also wants to raise funds to help research funding that is dedicated for human clinical trials or any other form of research that can help benefit the families.
