In a Nepal, where much of the education is expensive, information is scarce and professional guidance not available, we want to help people, making informed career decisions by developing and providing holistic career counseling services. As a pioneer we strive to be open-minded, innovative in the various roles we are playing, respecting every stakeholder of our project, while staying an unbiased hub for educational and professional questions. We furthermore believe in the concept of social business, so that we are driven by our mission, environmentally conscious and providing a open-minded and friendly working environment while aiming for financial sustainability through our operative activities. By 2020 we want to be present in every district of Nepal with our services. We have developed solutions, which can be implemented by basic career helpers, which can be teachers, NGO-workers or engaged community members of their area. So far we have developed online and offline available psychometric assessments, a variety of workshops for different target groups (i.e. students in higher secondary, graduated students, who want to reorient themselves, parents, teachers) providing them with what they need to know about career decision making and the labour market of Nepal. As a Social Business we are first and foremost mission oriented, while we strive for financial sustainability from providing our services to private, corporate or public clients, while offering an inspiring and modern workplace for our staff and being environmentally friendly.
