Careers Consult UK has been formed in order to support the provision of quality careers opportunities for education providers and learners. Covid 19 has had a deep and long-lasting impact on the education sector, resulting in gaps in education across the board. Careers education has faced challenges, most specifically, relating to Work Experience and Employer Engagement. Lockdown, working from home and more stringent risk assessments have all been barriers to enabling students to experience the world of work and interact face to face with employers and employees from a variety of industries. Careers Consult UK offer support and events provision to ensure schools are able to achieve their Gatsby Benchmark aims, prepare for OFSTED and provide their learners with meaningful careers experiences which will help inform and shape next steps.
