CareForHealth aims to provide affordable, acceptable, accessible and approachable mental health facilities for the masses. Mental illness in developing countries is seen as a cultural and social stigma. Adults that have recovered from mental disorders are largely cast out of society. CareForHealth connects organisations in developing countries to provide employment, vocational training and housing to adults that are in their final stages of recovery from mental health disorders. CareForHealth is raising awareness of the importance of mental health and human rights and by gaining both the confidence of our client and service organisations we are able to allow a steady flow of functional networks. Once our clients have smoothly transitioned into society by means of our network, CareForHealth monitors them to ensure relapse prevention.
