Our mission at CareFully is to make compassionate patient-centred care a core competency for the healthcare industry in Australia, thus contributing to better outcomes for staff and patients. The founder of CareFully, Caitlin Delaney, has comprehensive first-hand experience of patient-centred care, both from working with patients and being a patient herself. Drawn from her personal story as a cancer survivor, but also as a trained clinical scientist and healthcare manager, she places the importance of kindness at the heart of the CareFully ethos. The power of compassion is no longer just a myth, and when combined with quality communication, it can be one of the most powerful healthcare tools available.
