We are a technology company dedicated to developing a new generation of high-definition sensors for the consumer, healthcare and medical sectors. Our patented technology, OPM (Opto-Physiological Monitoring), improves upon the traditional and widely used PPG (Photoplethysmography) sensor technology. Carelight’s OPM technology utilises a unique 3D sensor configuration that, alongside highly detailed modelling of the subject’s biological tissue with light trans-illumination, results in accurate biological measuring regardless of where the OPM device is placed. This process is completely non-invasive and utilises LED wavelengths that allow the sensor to detect even the slightest changes within the subject, even in low perfusion states, and ignores disruption from physical movement that would typically skew results.
