CaribTek, where great ideas take flight. We are an IT Management consulting firm focused mainly on IT Mergers and Acquisitions and IT Due Diligence. While the big firms do a good job managing big mergers, we focus on the smaller ones, where the issues are just as complex, and the big firms' standardized approaches are just too inflexible, expensive, and unwieldy to yield a good result. We also help our clients in other areas of IT Management. We manage RFPs for our clients and negotiate with vendors on their behalf. We do not have partnership relationships with any IT vendors, and so we can be completely impartial when negotiating with them on behalf of our clients. We help our clients improve the effectiveness of their IT organization, by consolidating applications and infrastructure, optimizing the size and structure of their IT organization, assessing their in-house IT talent, and by improving their IT business processes through the implementation of IT standards such as ITIL, ISO, and Six Sigma. We help our clients determine the appropriate mix of Cloud Computing, traditional Outsourcing, and Offshoring, and also when it makes sense to "insource" a previously outsourced service by bringing it in house. For Insourcing, we offer a full turnkey approach, where we can manage the implementation of supporting services (helpdesk call tracking, network monitoring systems, etc.), the building up of the new organization, and the transfer of services from the vendor.
