Julia achieved her Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction as well as her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Kansas. Julia has over ten years of experience in non-profit and education grant writing, program design and evaluation, including: Successfully writing and managing federal, state and community grants. Leading evaluation teams to ensure best practice in evidence-based research, strategies, and evaluation methods are used for ongoing program improvement, decision making and strategic planning. Certified in Program Evaluation from Arizona State University Julia has over five years of experience in non-profit leadership as the Chief Program Officer. As a result of her focused leadership and problem solving, she expanded program offerings with positive outcomes by providing: Organizational oversight Best practice compliance Employee supervision New program creation With over seventeen years of experience in education, Julia has curriculum design and teaching experience in both the traditional classroom environment and virtual learning. She excels in backward design and utilizing formative and summative assessment. She has experience designing and implementing school wide college readiness curriculums and well as advanced placement college board curriculums.
