Carnexi

The name Carnexi derives from the Latin word connexi, which means to be connected. Carnexi is the latest, refreshed avenue of buying or selling a car, where users are connected. We’ve heavily focused on modernising the process of buying and selling cars. We’ve adopted the concept of social media but still kept true to the traditions that entail buying or selling cars. • Social – We’ve incorporated social media into our app. Users can follow other accounts that interest them. As a result, a user’s home-feed would be populated with listings from the followed accounts. This allows for users to keep up to date with new listings without having to go to the extent of searching themselves. And this in return helps sellers, allowing their listings to be viewed by fellow users that are genuinely interested in their products. We’ve also allowed for commenting, which is another avenue of interaction, where questions or enquiries can be answered in a casual manner, thus allowing for businesses to avoid answering the same questions. We still allow for users to e-mail and call a seller. • Features – We’ve added an array of features to benefit both parties. For the sellers, we allowed for adding a caption with a listing, this gives the seller a perfect opportunity to describe their listing and keeps the concept of interaction true. We also wanted to make sure the process of selling a car was easy and straight forward which is ultimately the reason why we created our very own custom built-in camera. Videos can be taken and uploaded instantly, without the use of another external platform. A listing can be made within minutes. For the individuals looking to buy a car, we incorporated a “Near You” feature that returns and shows any listing within a 15 to 20 mile radius without user input.
