Carolyn Baker - Author

I have been an educator for more than twenty-five years. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree at Longwood University in Virginia, I taught in Indiana, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas. I attained a master’s degree from Rollins College in Florida and went on to earn a doctorate in education from Vanderbilt University. I founded the Nashville Catholic Middle School Forensic League and coached the forensic team at Overbrook School for 14 years. I have been an adjunct instructor at Aquinas College in Nashville, the University of St. Thomas and Springfield College in Houston, Texas. I became interested in writing about leadership skills after reflecting on my husband’s successful 50 year career. I have two daughters and three grandchildren. I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee with my husband, Clark. We have been married for 44 years.
