My publishing career spans decades, mastheads and continents. For 18 years I held numerous editorial roles at Veranda, including European Editor at Large while living and working in Paris and Decorating Director/Interiors Editor in New York. Prior to that I held the position of Decorating Editor at House Beautiful, House & Garden and Contributing Editor to Elle Decor. During my tenure I procured and produced countless admired features and memorable covers. As a producer and stylist, I’ve always thought of myself as a story teller. “My job is to capture the magic of a place and create a narrative translating it onto the page" In 2014, I authored Veranda A Passion for Living: Houses of Style and Inspiration, featuring beautiful stories of houses and gardens I produced all over Europe. I’m known and respected for my discerning editor's eye, love of beauty and “A Passion for Living”. Since 2019 I’ve expanded the scope of my work building my own brand as a Creative Consultant, advising and collaborating with designers, architects and photographers providing creative direction for a wide range of media content, from magazines and books to all manner of digital platforms. It is mission to be of service helping designers to take the lead in creating their own content. I also continue to work with the nations leading interior titles such as Schumacher’s Frederic and Veranda where i serve as Contributing Editor, procuring, producing and styling photo shoots and in recent years my work has also been published in Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Traditional Home and Luxe Interiors + Design.
