Carter Brown Foundation

Carter Brown Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization whose mission is to provide supplies, services, and financial support benefiting at-risk or in-need animals. Through projects and ongoing support of local shelters and rescues, the foundation is changing lives four paws at a time. The Carter Brown Foundation was established in 2019 in memory of Carter, a beloved family rescue dog. She spent her 5 short but joyous years as a devoted companion to her humans and playmate to her dog siblings. She spread smiles to everyone she met. She was playful, goofy, gregarious, and terrified of thunderstorms and fireworks. In 2017 Carter was diagnosed with advanced melanoma and passed away. While she left a hole in her family's hearts and home, her passing inspired this foundation to support animals in need so that other pets and humans may have the cherished memories like those she left behind.
