Casa Mexico Foundation

Our mission is to create spaces open to all: to celebrate, connect, create, discuss, exhibit, integrate, perform, produce, speak; in general, to promote and support programs and activities that generate awareness, knowledge and understanding of Mexico and its interrelationship with Canada and Alberta. Casa Mexico fosters the preservation of heritage and identity for Mexicans living in Alberta, while encouraging their integration into the Canadian culture by providing a forum to showcase their talents and contributions to Canadian society. Our vision is the creation of an iconic cultural centre, representative of Mexican and Latin American culture. The multifunctional space we envision will welcome the participation of our local communities and international visitors alike, to enjoy the unique Mexican cultural experience, and exposure to the Spanish language. The cultural centre will provide an environment of community spirit, dedicated to cultivating artistic talent, creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
