Our purpose: To educate & bring awareness so that communities can thrive after an emergency. We build climate resilience and preparedness skills. Our mission To engage with our community in a way that inspires resilient action to prepare for the impact of a warming climate, and sudden disasters. We engage with our Latinx neighbors and invite our indigenous elders to share their ancestral knowledge. Our vision is to inspire community resilience hubs throughout the Cascadia bioregion, uniting all based on the shared love of the Northwest lands. Our values We value ancestral culture and knowledge and will bring indigenous knowledge-givers to facilitate our workshops. We believe in the Principles of Environmental Justice.[1]_ In order to lay the foundation for the next era of the changing climate, we must envision what can be possible.
