Cassovia Life Sciences

Cassovia Life Sciences is a not-for-profit association of scientific and research institutes, innovative industry participants, SME-s related to medical and life-sciences research and innovation. CLS functions as a central connecting point for multiple research facilities in the proximal region of Kosice and within the cross-border region of Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine. CLS builds international stakeholder network, promotes the competencies and capacities of its members, organizes conferences, seminars, workshops and disseminate achievements of its members internationally. The mission of Cassovia Life Sciences is to create critical mass of scientific competencies, research capacities in order to enable the generation of new knowledge and insights that have the potential to promote health, prevent or cure diseases. CLS shall enable a new level of sustainable regional co-operation between high achiever organisations that share the vision of transforming Kosice and its region to a scientific, research and innovation area that as equal to its European and global peers. CLS shall enable its members to participate in cross-border and international research projects and to disseminate their achievements internationally.
