Then, having acquired vineyards in the principal areas of production, Castel firmly established its reputation as a producer of highquality wines. Finally, the acquisition of a network of sales outlets gave Castel a broad distribution base first of all in France, but increasingly on an international scale. In 60 years, under the guidance of Pierre Castel, current Founder and President, the status of the company has evolved from that of simple wine merchant in France and Africa to an internationally renowned business, whose products are sold in over 80 countries worldwide.
