Our nation is faced with a large tire waste challenge, generating more than 300 million tires that are disposed of every year. As a leading tire recycler, Castle Tire is tackling this problem head on! Castle Tire's core service is to collect, process, and recycle tire waste in an environmentally responsible manner. The recycled tire material supplies rubber manufacturers, renewable energy outlets, and large civil engineering projects. The company’s roots go back to 1982 and has since grown to collecting and processing more than tires a day, servicing over customer locations with a fleet of 300 trailers, 150 employees, 10 locations, and 5 processing plants. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, the company services customers in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, and Colorado, and has a collection network that reaches customers from Hawaii to New York. Castle is growing quickly through organic growth and acquisition with the overall goal of significantly reducing the impact of tire waste on our environment. We are targeting a collection and processing rate of 100 million tires annually by 2025.
