Catalyse Energy is committed to converting organic waste into sustainable energy, promoting innovation and environmental responsibility. We transform industrial waste streams from the food processing industry into energy and organic fertilizer, creating a circular economy that reduces greenhouse gases and promotes sustainable livelihoods in the communities where we operate. Our first successful project in Africa is located in Burkina Faso, where Fasobiogaz SARL operates the first CO2 neutral industrial Biogas Plant. This plant is also the first grid-connected biogas plant in the country, with an installed capacity of 275kW. The electricity generated is distributed by Sonabel, the national utility company. In addition to electricity generation, we also produce and distribute organic fertilizer. Our mission is to lead the transition towards a circular economy in Africa, promoting energy independence, environmental stewardship, and lasting economic vitality.
