Catchpoint is an exciting evolution in self-adhesive labelling with Linerless labels, cleverly converted with micro-perforations (a.k.a Catchpoints) now applied through automated equipment designed for a wide range of product applications. Catchpoint technology gives label printers and their customers, the opportunity to reduce packaging waste, as a result of new-patented label application methods, that deliver the advantages of self-adhesive labels, without the need for liners or backing paper waste. The first Catchpoint patent, GB 2405396 was granted in 2005 and enhanced solutions related to the original concept, are under patent application. Additionally, the potential benefits to the environment were recognised by a UK Government “Smart Award”.
