CBM India is committed to improving the quality of life for persons with disabilities and works for their inclusion and empowerment. As a leading disability and development organisation, we envision ‘an inclusive world’ in which all persons with disabilities enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential. Since 1994, CBM India has promoted access to quality healthcare, education and livelihood for people with disabilities and those at the risk of disability. This is linked to CBM India’s commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006). CBM India works in 26 states with partners, institutions and government agencies on programmes, advocacy, capacity-building and knowledge generation for making a real difference in the lives of persons with disabilities.
