CCMP Publishing - Centrale de Cas et Médias Pédagogiques - is the world's leading publisher of French-language case studies. CCMP Publishing's mission is to provide educational material for higher management education in France: nearly case studies of companies referenced on its e-commerce site. The case studies are written, after surveys in companies and interviews with managers, by teacher-researchers, case authors. They are published by the CCMP and sold in the form of an "e-book" on the web portal They are purchased by business schools, management education programmes (examples: GBBA, MBA, MSc.), universities, the IAE network or management IUTs, in France and in the French-speaking world. Case studies, real business situations in companies, are used by management teachers to train their students in the real problems of today's companies with an active and participatory pedagogy : the case method. Students, working on the resolution of a case, are led to make "fictitious" decisions and to argue them. The case method is the dominant pedagogy in Business Schools and is a real decision-making tool for future business managers. Since the creation of the CCMP in 1971 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, more than cases have been published in the CCMP collection. On average, 200 new cases are published per year. Last year, 194 authors were published and 216 cases were published in the CCMP series. CCMP Publishing also distributes case collections from prestigious international institutions. Thus, the CCMP is the leading distributor in France of Harvard Business Publishing case studies. It also distributes the collections of Ivey, Darden, Kellog, INSEAD, as well as the collections of HEC, ESSEC, EM Lyon.
