Ccnb-Innov

CCNB-INNOV is the applied research network of the New Brunswick Community College (CCNB). Since 2005, we have supported businesses and organizations across Atlantic Canada through applied research, technical assistance, and access to advanced technologies. Created in response to industrial demand in New Brunswick, INNOV was initially built around three core divisions: Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Materials, and Bioeconomy. Over the years, INNOV joined strategic innovation networks such as Springboard Atlantic (2008) and became eligible for NSERC funding in 2009. Since 2011, our research network has ranked annually among the Top 50 research colleges in Canada, including six years in the Top 25. In 2019, the Advanced Manufacturing division achieved the prestigious Technology Access Centre (TAC) designation from NSERC through Tech-Access Canada, becoming the only TAC in New Brunswick. Today, INNOV completes more than 60 industrial contracts every year, powered by a team of industry-trained experts and specialists. Our work spans six areas: advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, bioprocesses, agriculture, environment and INNOV-to-Market. Our mission is to drive innovation, support technology adoption, and contribute to the economic growth of New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada.
