Cd Sails

The CD sails is the new international sailmaking brand founded by Claudio Demartis. He began racing at a young age having many successes at both - a national and international level, firstly in dinghies and subsequently in offshore categories. He has won 3 world championships, 4 «Giro d'Italia» races, as well as holds numerous other national and international titles. In addition to being the sailor of success, he started to design and produce the sails in1980 when he founded the "Olimpic Sails" sail loft. He also gave a significant contribution to the development of the world’s largest regatta Barcolana, as well as created various other projects of success. The CD sails are the result of more than 40 years of the unique personal world winning racing and sails manufacturing experience. Every sail is handcrafted work- designed and elaborated in every detail, to assure the maximum performance of Optimist, one design, and cruising sails.
