CDCI was originally founded in Kenya in 1997 as Pinnacle Consultants Limited. It was incorporated in the United States in 2016 where its present Headquarters is located. Since its founding the company has provided business consulting and services to public and private sectors, to governments and non-governmental organizations in many countries including the United States, South Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, Zambia Mozambique, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and Eritrea.
