Ceal Unc

In 2003, CEAL – the Center for Excellence in Assisted Living – launched as a national collaborative to promote excellence in assisted living. The 20th anniversary in 2023 maintains this national collaborative and goal as CEAL becomes CEAL@UNC (Center for Excellence in Assisted Living at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill). CEAL@UNC has expanded capacity to develop evidence, bolster the workforce, and promote the adoption of evidence-based practices and policies, all toward advancing the well-being of the people who live and work in assisted living.
