Ceedi is a path-breaking start-up based in Bangalore, India on a mission to skill, employ, and uplift gig workers by applying the latest decentralization technologies like SSI (Self Sovereign Identity), Blockchain, Beckn, W3C Verifiable Credentials, DeFi, P2P network, etc. Digitally decentralizing gig workers and business operations through sharing economy are central themes. Ceedi is envisioned to be a digital exchange with governing protocols for the education, workforce and skills community, to enable frictionless exchange for skill development, deployment, and associated supply-chain and enabling services using all available Govt DPG (Digital Public Goods), ONDC, UPI, AADHAR, DESH, etc. Our concept is vetted by industry veterans and has already secured partnerships with well-known private and semi-Govt social impact organizations. Our unique business model puts empowered gig and migrant workers in direct contact with businesses and customers peer to peer, unlike the aggregation model adopted by current market-leading platform vendors. The idea is to create skilled workers as well as hone and encourage motivated workers to take up micro/nano entrepreneurs at population scale in 2nd and 3rd tier cities and towns, especially in newer businesses like the shared economy, 4th Industrial revolution, EV ecosystem, Greening and sustainability market, Hyperlocal commerce, and last-mile deliveries. Ceedi’s vision is to create a more empowered and knowledgeable workforce-centric world. Decentralized yet connected, with many viewpoints and backgrounds accounted for and represented, in which value produced is rewarded. Our founder is a serial entrepreneur who has previously founded two tech companies, one of which was acquired. Ceedi is currently in the concept to use case development stage, with extensive research being conducted on the business plan as well as applying different technologies to validate our proposition.
