Celli Berkeley

A young and passionate group dedicated to dynamic performances in concert halls and alternative environments, Celli@Berkeley is a chamber ensemble made up of members of the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra cello section and cellists in the UC Berkeley student community. Celli@Berkeley has performed modern works by composers in the Bay Area such as Michael Nicholas, Daniel Leo, and Anica Galindo - and most recently premiered UC Berkeley alumnus Jared Redmond's "Deep Song for 12 Cellos and Soprano" in May 2014. On sunny days, Celli@Berkeley can sometimes be heard performing pop arrangements on the UC Berkeley campus near Sather Gate.
