Center for Cough was founded by Dr. Mandel Sher in 2009 after diagnosing and treating patients with chronic cough for 25 years in Sher Allergy Specialists. Dr. Sher is a nationally recognized cough specialist, board certified in allergy and immunology, Clinical Professor at USF Health,(Acting) Division Chief of Allergy and Immunology at USF Health and Johns Hopkins All Children's, frequent presenter at national and local professional society meetings, clinical investigator, and advocate for persons suffering with chronic cough. Dr. Sher’s academic and training credentials include: Northwestern, Duke, Harvard, and University of Michigan. Center for Cough is located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, conveniently accessible to residents or seasonal visitors of Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Fort Myers, Sarasota, and Naples. Center for Cough is one of the very few cough centers in the nation and the only dedicated, one-stop cough center in the southeastern region.
