CEDTech is an upcoming non-profit organization whose main mandate is to enhance the facilitation and the implementation of the required ICT in the Education sector. CEDTech is committed to promoting responsible growth and competitiveness in Malawi by changing the way Education sector do its operations in liaison with both public and private sector to benefit people and the economy in order to build sustainable and innovative human resource in Malawi. CEDTech will be among others engaged in capacity building, research and facilitation of Education Technology and multi-stakeholder processes that bring together private, government and the civil society for collective actions to address sustainability challenges. Through such platforms, CEDTech and other stakeholders highlight the risks and opportunities for Education technology in relation to creating value to all stakeholders. It is through such platforms that this strategic plan has been inspired. Information shared through these platforms has helped CEDTech to highlight the risks, challenges and opportunities which have inspired the development of the plan. Lessons learnt through engaging, stakeholders, partners and the wider community inspired the development of the plan with refreshed goals and mission. Through partnership model CEDTech will be involved in projects with partner organizations in enhancing ICT in Education in Malawi. The organization is committed to being the center of excellence in corporate public spirit in Malawi and it focuses on the enhancement and implementation of Education technology for sustainable Education sector. CEDTech’s approach to corporate public spirit focuses on the extent of governments, private sector and civil society acting collectively, exercise their collective and shared responsibility to drive and hold the forces of economic power accountable to mankind by ensuring that Education technology is adopted responsibly.
