Center for Prevention Services (CPS) is a long-standing non-profit agency that specializes in youth prevention education, harm reduction, and multi-faceted linkage to care. CPS has been active in the Charlotte area since 1971 and for over 53 years has grown and provided services in Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus, Stanly, Davidson, and Rowan Counties. CPS is home to many programs and departments that include Queen City Harm Reduction, the Alianza Coalition, and Partnerships for Success. It takes a village and CPS employs a full circle approach that addresses individual and community health.
