In 1976, parents whose children were diagnosed with autism faced their child’s future with confusion and anxiety, believing their child’s potential might never be realized. In that climate, two special education professionals and pioneers in this field, Susan Buckler and Jamey Wolff, created the Children’s Annex with just two students in a church basement in Woodstock, New York. Decades later, Center for Spectrum Services is considered a model school and is highly regarded for fostering the potential of each child by using research-based educational practices. For years, parents throughout the Hudson Valley have reached out to Center for Spectrum Services for support and guidance in a safe and caring setting.
