About Us Central Oregon Locavore is a year-round farmers market and 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to strengthen and support local food systems. We serve as the hub for local farmers, ranchers, and food producers to connect directly with the community, creating opportunities for sustainable agriculture, healthy nutrition, and a thriving regional economy. Since 2009, Locavore has been more than a marketplace—it’s a movement. Through our programs and partnerships, we provide education, outreach, and hands-on opportunities that inspire people of all ages to understand where their food comes from and why local matters. From our Willing Workers on Local Farms (WWOLF) volunteer program to youth farm field trips and producer support initiatives, we are proud to cultivate connections that nourish both people and planet.
