Centro Velico Caprera

The Centro Velico Caprera is the largest sailing school in Italy. It is a school where sailors learn to face life at sea simply and directly. Life at CVC is organized as it is onboard of a vessel: participation requires enthusiasm, adaptability, courtesy and will to help others. Founded in 1967, the CVC is based in the island of Caprera in north Sardinia. More than sailors attend the school each year. Our fleet counts on 70 sailing dinghies; 22 cruising sailboats; 3 offshore cruisers; 12 safety boats. Over 700 volunteer instructors are active each year at the Centro Velico Caprera.
