This unit was established as a response from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, to the high need for skilled and professional personnel based on professionalism (competence) in the IT field, especially in the field of software engineering. In the future where the level of dependence of human life on computers and all kinds of software in them is increasingly high, this will make almost all areas of life inevitably come into direct contact with computers so that there is no other word for us now other than the need to master Information Technology based on existing software. Since its founding, CCIT-FTUI has strived to meet the needs of industries in various fields for professional and competent human resources, namely for skilled personnel in the IT field. CCIT provides the best quality education for Indonesian sons and daughters in welcoming the era of Information and Communication Technology (ICT: Information and Communication Technology). With the aim of maximizing learning methods, CCIT collaborates with one of the best Information Technology educational institutions in the world, namely NIIT.
